Create a Module Page

Describes the process to create a MOCHA module

The success of MOCHA will largely depend on the willingness of educators to share their expertise in teaching hydrology with their colleagues through the creation of MOCHA modules. We assume that most modules will not be finished after the first creation, but that they will evolve by additions and edits form other colleagues  such as additional exercises, additional pictures or figures etc. We do not generally expect educators to fully cover both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of a topic, but to simply provide the material within their area of expertise.

Step 1 Register
Sign up to be a part of the MOCHA community, and gain access to module creation materials and current modules.
Step 2 Create Module
To create a module, submit a module proposal form, after ensuring that the module is not already in progress on the modules page.

Submit a module proposal form

Check email for the next 3-4 days following form submission for an acceptance from the MOCHA board, which will include the files necessary to create a module.  They are also available on the website.

Step 3 Publish Module
Once the module is finished, upload the PowerPoint file to the website.  It will be reviewed by the MOCHA team, and either followed by revision or approval and publishing to the website.  The upload feature should be available by Fall 2009; to submit materials contact Christa directly.

We welcome anyone from the greater hydrology community to contribute modules - thank you for your help contributing to the MOCHA project and the community at large.
